Matthew Baer Obituary
Matthew Baer, 50, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on February 19, 2025. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Baer and Jevene Baer, and the husband of Melinda Baer for 21 years.
Matthew was born on July 17, 1974, in Elkhart, IN. He enjoyed chess, drawing, and was a football enthusiast.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Jevene Baer; his sons, Tyler Matthew Baer and Ryan Christopher Baer; grandchild, Charlie Emersyn Baer; his sister, Danielle L. Christophe; nephew, Jordan Christophe, and many loving friends in the community.
A service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
