Matt Beno was a caring man who loved his children, grandbabies, and wife. His dream was to sit on a porch on a swing and watch his grandbabies play and be there for his children as they grew into beautiful adults. Physically he may not be here, but he has never left our hearts and will never be forgotten. Matt enjoyed working on cars, riding four wheelers with friends, and shooting pool. He was highly dedicated to his work. Up until months before he passed away, he insisted on going to work at Taylormade Golf. TaylorMade was definitely his work family. Matt will be missed by family and friends. When he was in the room, he always made the conversation easy and had a caring attitude about everyone and most situations. Matt was a wonderful father who his children will be proud to remember him as their loving father. Words can never express how much he will be missed.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents Reuben and Flora Majors.
He is survived by his wife Leiann Mae Beno; daughters: Destiny Beno (Ian Moore), Amber Beno, and step-daughter Marie Beresford; son Jaxon Beno and step-sons Jason Beresford and Noah Beresford all of Henderson, KY; mother and step-father Karen and David Powell of Henderson, KY; brother Brent Majors (Dusti) of Dixon, KY; grandchildren: Circe Moore, Nova Peeples, and Flora Peeples; nieces and nephew: Kelsey, Ashley, Brandon, and Braxton; as well as longtime friends Billy Ervin and Neil Wildman.
Relatives and friends are invited to Matt's Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
