Matthew J. Dillon

Matthew J. Dillon, 49, of Derry, NH passed away at his residence on October 3, 2008. He was born in Milford, CT on August 7, 1959, the son of Desmond and Maryanne (Buckley) Dillon Sr., and had been a NH resident for nearly 30 years. He owned and operated MAACO Auto Body in Lawrence, MA. He loved power boating, spending time at the lake, skiing and being with his family. He also enjoyed dirt biking and loved riding his Harley Davidson. Family members include his wife of 25 years, Dawn (Burnside) Dillon; his father of Canterbury, CT; his son, Alex Dillon of Derry, NH; his daughter Jamie Dillon of Derry, NH; a brother, Desmond Dillon Jr., of Canterbury, CT; a sister, Patricia Anne Dillon of Thousand Oaks, CA; and several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, NH on Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 5 PM, with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:15 PM.
