Matthew Lee Dombrovski passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2023, in Billings. He was born to Ronald Lee and Carol Marie (Wedl) Dombrovski on April 11, 1974, in Billings.
Matthew attended Skyview High School, MSUB and MSUB-College of Technology. He worked as a refinery operator.
Matthew loved to hunt and fish with his brothers, but on Father's Day weekend, it was always around his son Alex's birthday, so they would go up to Nelson Lake and fish together for the weekend – always to catch Walleye. Family always came first.
Matt loved music, so we watched a lot of his favorite videos. He also loved to research new recipes! He was a really good cook.
When Matthew's father passed, he was wearing a St. Christopher medal. Matt asked to have the medal and he was also wearing it when he passed. St. Christopher is the patron saint of safe travels, so safe travels to you, Matt!
His favorite author was Ernest Hemingway and he loved Hemingway's saying "Best of all, I Love the Fall" and Matthew did too. It is cooler and he loved the change of colors with hunting season (elk) coming up.
Matthew was preceded in death by his father Ronald and his niece Paige Marie Dombrovski.
Matthew is survived by his two children, Abigail Rose Dombrovski and Alex Lee Dombrovski, both of Billings; his mother Carol; his brothers: Mark Anthony Dombrovski, Michael Jon (Rica) Dombrovski, all of Billings; niece Alyssa Dombrovski; nephew and niece Tristan and Madi Dombrovski.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Heights Family Funeral Home.
