I know this is very late but I’ve only just seen this obituary. I met Matt a few years ago at a very dark time in both of our lives. He was struggling so deeply and trying so hard to find peace. I will always remember his strength in the face of all he was going through. I truly hope he is at peace finally. I wish all of the best to his loved ones. Please know he truly made a difference in my life and I will never forget him.

Matt, we've never gotten the chance to speak directly, but after working on the recent article for Morgan with you and Jane a couple months ago, hearing of your passing seems very surreal to me. My heart goes out to your family, especially Morgan and Ben. I can only imagine what they're going through right now. May you find peace and rest in paradise Matt.
