Born in Levittown, Pennsylvania he was a son of Matthew "Matt" and Alyssa (Grayson) Haines of Cresco.
Matthew was an incoming junior at East Stroudsburg High School South. He was a member of the JTL wrestling team, the JTL and HSS football and HSS baseball teams. He worked as a floor guard at the Big Wheel and most recently as a busser at the Cinder Inn. Matthew was all about his family and friends. All he ever wanted to do was make everyone he knew smile and laugh. He was so full of life! Everyone who knew him loved him and felt loved by him. He will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his brother Casey; sister Audrey; grandparents Christine Grayson, Lon and Judy Grayson, June LaVallee, Glen Papin; numerous aunts, uncles cousins, niece and nephews, as well as his biological mother Megan Parkes.
There will be an Open House Memorial on Friday, August 12th the family's residence for family and friends.
Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc.
