Matthew Nathaniel "Matt" Hefner

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Matthew's sudden passing. He was a longtime friend of our family. We always remember his helpfulness and all the times we shared together. He will always be in our memories. I miss you, Matt, my best friend, Chris.

As my best friend , my brother from another mother and family words can never take away the loss of him, From teenage years to present always spending time together,Matt was a friend that you don´t find in life very often, honest and caring and generous, Even now I still pick up the phone to call my friend and realize he is no longer here, But I know one day I shall see him in heaven.Evan though he is not here he is in our hearts,The memories of good times and tough times will never be forgotten,He was here to watch my kids to grow up and share their lives with us, I know Matt´s family wonderful folks will always be a family to me, we must never forget our life´s our just a short time on this world,and my friend Matt found Jesus before he left here and shared the happiness of this with me,strengthening my faith in our savior. I have no doubt we will meet again,Matt was a great guy and will be missed

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Mat was such a nice guy and I enjoyed talking with him. He really loved his family.

I had just recently been talking to Matt and we shared pictures back and forth and talked about the wild animals we both liked to feed. We reminisced about family visits and cousins. My deepest sympathy to his parents and siblings. I know Mom, Mary Jo, Mammaw and Pappaw were there to greet him in Heaven.
