Matthew Herbison Obituary
Matthew John Herbison passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 25 in Newton, Kansas at Newton Medical Center.
Matthew was born on March 19, 1998 at St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.
At age five Matthew was adopted by Shirley Herbison and Jimmy Blair. He was raised in a loving environment surrounded by siblings.
Matthew loved Winnie the Pooh and had his room decorated with all of the different characters. His dad, Jimmy, also painted his ceiling baby blue with clouds so he could always enjoy a little piece of the outdoors.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Shirley Herbison; siblings, Donald Herbison, April Herbison, Ariana and Roxanne Herbison, Steve Herbison, Corbin Herbison, Kathy Frazier, and Teresa Blair.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Blair.
Memorial Service will be at 2:00p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 11:00a.m.
