Matthew Raymond Labore passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2023 at his place of employment. He was surrounded by his best friends Craig Giroux and Joseph Bilodeau. He was born on March 24, 1974. He is survived by his parents Raymond and Dr. Nancy Labore, his brother Craig Labore and wife Dr. Andrea Murphy, nephew Jacob and niece Madelyn Labore.
Matt was employed at Sanmina Corporation as a Manufacturing Equipment Technician for 25 years. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and thrived on the ever changing technology in the field of contract manufacturing. He especially enjoyed the camaraderie of his Sanmina family.
Matt had many roles in our family:
He was a “big brother” to Craig. As small children, they played together and yes, at times, fought over toys as children do. As the years passed however, Matt became a source of inspiration and a “great resource and mentor” for his brother.
Matt did not have a sister until Andrea entered our family. As a brother in law, Matt enthusiastically welcomed his “sister”. Andrea considered Matt to be her “big brother”.
He was especially proud of his role as “Uncle Matt” to Jacob and Madelyn. He had found a new audience for his quick wit and sense of humor. He soon became a favorite playmate for his niece and nephew.
As his parents, words cannot express the sadness and great sense of loss of our beloved son. Matt was a thoughtful, kind and gentle child who grew up to become an extraordinary man. Matt loved his family with all his heart and will be in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be private.
