Matthew William "Matt" Laird

Matthew William Laird was born February 23, 1993, in Longview Texas and was sent to his eternal home August 29, 2025, in Austin, Texas. He was the beloved son of John and Debbie Laird.
Matt, as he was affectionately known, was a skilled and master craftsman. His talents and capabilities were unmatched. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives he touched. Matt was the owner of both MWL Transport Services and Nomadic Fabs.
Matthew is survived by his parents John and Debbie Laird, his sister Rachel Dobbs, and brother Joe Williams and his wife Mallori. He was the beloved uncle to Owen, Isabelle, Paisley Dobbs and Olivia Williams. He leaves behind aunts and uncles including John and Lynn Walter, Julie and Mike Edwards, Mike and Ratna Walter and Janet Pierce. He is also survived by grandparents Larry and Dorothy Shouse and Lynell Laird.
Those who knew Matt will remember him for his willingness to help anyone, his love of woodworking, touring the country in his van, and his beloved dog Ava.
A graveside memorial service for Matt will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Roberta, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
