Palmer- Matthew PJ Lamb, 29, entered eternal peace unexpectedly at his home on March 9,2023. On June 29, 1993 the world was blessed with a blonde, blue eyed little boy who fought very hard in the beginning of his life just to live. He always had the cutest smile and enjoyed sports and hanging out with his friends and his step sister, Ashley (who is 16 days older then him and never let him forget it), making legos and playing games. He attended school in Palmer all his life. Unfortunately, mental illness took over and he was no match for it, no matter the fight, it won. He was the beloved son of Ronald Lamb of Ware and Trisha Leveille and longtime friend Jimmy Bucier of Palmer. He also leaves his sister, Katie Baker; nephews, Carter and Evan Schroth, and Jeremy Poirier, of Brimfield; aunt, Tracy Ogoley and her husband Mike of palmer; and cousin, Lane Ogoley of Palmer. Matthew was deeply loved by his bonus family; his stepmother, Debra Lamb of Ware; his sisters, Amber Raymond and her husband Andrew and nephew Aiden of Monson, and Ashley Chevrette and her husband Mark of Warren; niece, Marley and brother, Zackary Lamb of Ware; and aunt, Tammy Deyo and her husband Charles of Ludlow. He is also loved by his grandmother, Nancy Lafontaine of Ludlow. Matthew was predeceased by his grandparents, Ira and Barbara Lamb of Palmer; grandmother, Linda Leveille of Manchester, CT; and his bonus grandfather, Kenneth Lafontaine of Ludlow. Matthew was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home and will conclude with personal reflections being shared. Burial will immediately follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Matthew's memory to The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
