Matthew Jordan Langbein, a man whose laughter was as infectious as his spirit, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 42. Born in Austin, TX, on June 6, 1982, to Carl and Sandy Langbein, Matt lived most of his life in Midlothian, Texas, bringing laughter to all who knew him. He was a funny, loving, witty, and generous soul that could light up a room with his charisma and humor.
Matt graduated from Texas State University in 2006 with a BBA in Marketing and was a dedicated and successful salesperson in the roofing business, a job that he performed with unyielding dedication and enthusiasm. His work was a reflection of his character- hardworking, reliable, and unfailingly generous. But it was outside the workplace that Matt truly shined. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks, a love he shared with his family and friends. He enjoyed live music and concerts and was often the life of any gathering with his funny anecdotes and witty remarks. Not just a sports enthusiast, Matt was a compassionate basketball coach imparting not just skills but life lessons to the players he mentored.
The biggest joy of his life was family, especially his kids Tyler, Reese, and Cameron. You could always find Matt cheering them on in their sports and activities. Matt was well known in the community for volunteering. His gentle nature and generous spirit were a few of his many wonderful traits.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffani, his beloved children Tyler, Reese, and Cameron, his devoted parents, Carl and Sandy Langbein, and sister, Angie Terrano. His family, friends, and all who knew him will continue to celebrate his life and cherish the memories they shared.
His departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his spirit lives on in the memories and stories shared by his loved ones. We invite you to leave your memories of Matt and upload photos to the memorial page. It's a way to celebrate his life, his love for his family, and his remarkable journey through this world.
