I am so sad hearing about the passing of a great educator.
I attended Mary Abbott School and Matt was my teacher during 6th 7th and 8th grades
Later on i worked as a Custodian at North End Middle School and Matt was still Vice Principal under Joe Cavanaugh
I remember seeing him and saying "Hey Mr Larkin" and he said "No call me Matt" because so much time went by since id been his student
RIP Matt...there are so many who will never forget you
