Matthew Jason Lewis, age 65, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2025, in Ken-Caryl Ranch, Colorado. He was born on Long Island, New York, to Neville and Ruth Lewis. He was a graduate of Syracuse University (B.S. 1982, M.S. 1986 in physics), where he met his wife, Rosemary. They were married in Kauai, Hawaii, in 1990.
He worked in the technology industry for nearly 40 years in Los Angeles and Colorado. He was a passionate photographer, mountain biker, and hiker, and loved nothing so much as being out at dawn surrounded by nature.
He is survived by his wife, his brothers Andrew and Jonathan, their families, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those wishing to honor his life may make a donation to the Cat Care Society of Lakewood, Colorado.
