Matthew Martin Obituary
Matthew grew up in Temple, Texas and was a 2009 graduate of Temple High School. He went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas State University, with Majors in English and Philosophy, in May 2014. Matthew was also a talented musician and writer.
Left behind to mourn his loss are his beloved .animals, Hart (Dog) and Jimbo (Cat); Parents, Dr. Michael and Valerie Martin of Temple, Texas; Brother Dr. Bruce (Misty) Martin of Southlake, Texas; Sister Michelle JD (Clayton) Haden of San Antonio, Texas; and Brother James Martin of Austin, Texas; nieces and nephews Katherine Martin, Ryan Martin, Charles Haden, and Hannah Haden

He was sitting outside the Exxon and I rode up on my trike to grab a fountain drink and a scratch off, my nightly ritual. When I came back outside, Matthew said to me, "Hey, Andra can't wait to hear you sing some more!" I was thrown off , I had not met him ,yet but he knew me and I hadn't told anyone here that I was a professional singer for 30 years. I sat next to him and we were comfortable just talking about everything and nothing at all.
