This absolutely hurts my heart ❤. Matt was doing my hair since before industry. He gave so much and was such a beautiful person.

Matt was such a kind soul. He would always go out of his way to say hello whenever I was at the salon. I will miss his smiling face each and every time I go there. So sad, too soon.

I would like to express how truly saddened that I am at the shocking news of Matts passing. I had the opportunity to meet Matt in high school and we remained close friends until I moved to Florida in 1995 and we lost touch. I thought of him and remembered him often and he always brought a smile to my face when I would remember just how hilarious and original that he was. He was so loyal and loving and I wished that I just told him how much that he means to me.
I will remember him always and my heart goes out to you and your family. I am truly sorry that I never met all of you. However, I will pray for you and always be grateful that I had the opportunity to love such a special man. God Bless you.

Matt was my very special friend.. for over 25 years. He was kind, funny, caring, generous, dedicated, and loyal and I will miss everything about him. In so many of our conversations, he spoke about how much he loved his son, Ethen and husband, Brian. My sincerest sympathies go to his family as we all try to find a way to remember and honor Matt and be so very grateful for the time we had with him.
