Matthew "Matt" Victor Morrison, 35, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 24, 2025. Born July 26, 1990, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Richard and Diana (Swanson) Morrison.
A graduate of Eastwood High School, Matt pursued his passion for cooking and built a career as a versatile chef. His love for food reflected his generous spirit, always bringing people together around the table.
Matt enjoyed life's simple pleasures-listening to music, collecting vinyl records and pins, camping, and watching NASCAR. He especially treasured holidays and time spent with family and friends.
Matt is survived by his parents, Richard and Diana; brother, Richard Jr.; and best friend, Matty Bradfield.
Times of memorial gathering to celebrate Matt's life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Monday, October 6, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made in care of the family.
