Matthew Lee Myers, age 27, of Sedalia, Missouri and formerly of Nebo, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025.
He was born in McDowell County on June 26, 1998 to Randy Lee Myers and Shelia Ann Clubb Anastasiades. An avid gamer, Matthew spent his free time creating avatars for online gaming platforms, a hobby he truly enjoyed. Skateboarding and making music were also some of his favorite hobbies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Matthew was preceded in death by his half-brother, Timothy Parker.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Randy Myers; his mother, Shelia Anastasiades; his daughter, Brinlynn Lee Myers; paternal grandparents, Walter and Kay Myers; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Hill; two half-sisters, Stacey Ward (Gary) and Jessica Parker (Timothy Hudgins); and a number of beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Pastor T-Jay Addison. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
