I first met Matt at Clayton County Fire as a rookie, and although we initially only shared military service and a dark sense of humor, our bond grew stronger over time. As I got to know him better, he became not just a mentor, but also a dear friend.
It was evident that Matt prioritized his family above all else, and his genuine concern for others was palpable whenever we responded together to medical calls. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people and make a positive impact on their lives.
His presence will forever be cherished, and his absence deeply felt. Matt, you will be remembered and dearly missed.
Justin brannon.
