Matthew Saiz Obituary
Matthew Simon Saiz passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026.
He is preceded in death by his father Simon Saiz, and sister-in-law Joann Saiz.
He is survived by his mother Dora Saiz, sister Elizabeth, brother-in-law Joe Baca, brother Arthur Saiz, sister Margo, brother-in-law Chris Tafoya, Godmother Leonella Trevino, also his many cousins, nieces, and nephews who all had importance in his life and loved and cherished him.
Matthew was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and nephew, cherished deeply by his family. Above all else, Matthew was a devoted dog dad, finding joy, companionship, and unconditional love in caring for his beloved dogs. His kindness, loyalty, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Matthew’s faith and love for his family and God will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Matthew's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 6:00pm at the Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 4th St. NW, 87107. Mass will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 10:00am also at the Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church. Matthew will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.
