Matthew Thomas Stricklin was born on November 29, 1990 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of Thomas D. Stricklin and the late Rachel Franks Stricklin.
Matthew was currently working as a student certified nursing assistant and previously worked at Lowe's. He enjoyed drawing, gardening, and horticulture. He was of the Church of God (Seventh Day) belief.
Matthew Thomas Stricklin departed this life on September 21, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 32 years, 9 months, and 23 days.
He is survived by his father, Thomas D. Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee; stepmother, Barbara Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Patricia Darlene Stanfill, Sabrina Starr Smith and her husband Gaines, and Jessica Elaine Massengill and her husband Greg, all of Savannah, Tennessee; special aunt, Bambi Kennedy of Adamsville, Tennessee; special cousin, Cody Hughes of Adamsville, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Matthew was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Theron Stricklin.
