I am very glad to have gotten to know him, working side by side for the past few years. Always a great smile on his face and source of comfort and care (as long as it was after 10 in the morning... LOL)

Matt was such a happy kid. We remember the time we attended a church carnival at St. Marys with Matt, and his cousins Christopher Whittaker and Robbie Whittaker. The three cousins are all 40 now but the memory of a fun outing remains. May he rest in peace.

I went to MCC with Matt aka Teddy to floor 2 in pioneer hall. Teddy was such a light. He always made you laugh, definitely made you feel loved and was a teddy bear that gave outstanding hugs. I haven´t seen teddy in many many years but the news of his death made me miss him with an intense force. Thank you so much for making the dorms a brighter place and sharing your love and kindness with so many people. You will always be remembered and the world is definitely a sadder place without such an outstanding man like Matt! Love to all of his close family and friends.

I will never forget the warm and kind-hearted nature of Matt. His infectious smile and his ability to make everyone feel like family/friends. I've known Matt for the majority of my life and regardless of how much time had passed since I had seen him, it was like we never skipped a beat. Matt truly lit up a room and was always so full of life. I will miss this gentle soul and am grateful to have known him.
