Matthew Versis

I met Matt at Four Seasons Elementary School. At a young age, we became very close friends, always goofing off and getting scolded in class. At Crofton Middle, we were even stupider; pantsing each other & friends in gym class, crushing each other's knuckles at the lunch table, and getting lunch detention for having a literal food fight and then fleeing the scene. After finishing middle school, we went to separate high schools and our friendship faded, but my respect for Matt never went away. My most recent memory of Matt was when we went to a Flatbush Zombies concert in 2018--that was truly a memorable day and the best concert I'd ever been to. I'm going to miss Matt and replay the memories of our adolescence in my head. God bless the Versis family. May he rest in peace.

To the best work buddy ever, You are forever in my heart. We had such great conversation especially our silly would you rather questions.
To your Mom and dad, you raised such a respectful young man. He truly will be missed. I would love a chance to meet you and say "see you later" to my friend. You have the most special Valentine angel and I am always going to celebrate him.
