Matthew Warren Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jansen Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Feb. 2, 2026.
Matthew Joseph Warren, a cherished son, brother, nephew and friend, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 22. Born on December 9, 2003, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Matthew's life was a beacon of joy and kindness to all who knew him. He was a loving soul whose selfless nature and courageous spirit touched the hearts of many.

Matthew grew up in a close-knit family, surrounded by love and support. He was the beloved son of Kelly and the late Matthew Schwamb. His siblings, Paris, Cameron, Brie, Benny and Jameson, will forever cherish the memories of their dear brother. Matthew was a treasured grandson to Cheri and Tony Schwamb, and he held a special place in the hearts of his Aunt Tabby, Aunt Crystal, Uncle Anthony, and his grandparents Randy and Karey Warren, who preceded him in death. His loss will be deeply felt by his many close family members and friends, who were all an integral part of his life.

From a young age, Matthew exhibited a passion for life that was evident in his many interests. He found joy in cooking for everyone, a testament to his generous nature. He took pleasure in staying active, often going to the gym to maintain his health and well-being. Matthew had a creative side as well, which he expressed through his work with leather, crafting pieces that were both beautiful and functional. His love for video games provided him with hours of entertainment and camaraderie with friends. Moreover, Matthew had a practical streak, as seen in the care and attention he dedicated to working on his truck. Recently, he had also discovered a fondness for playing golf, a hobby he was just beginning to enjoy.

Matthew's life was a reflection of his loving, selfless, and courageous character. He approached every day with a sense of purpose and a desire to make a positive impact on those around him. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

As we bid farewell to Matthew Joseph Warren, we celebrate the time we had with him and the countless ways in which he enriched our lives. His legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the memories we hold dear. We take comfort in knowing that his journey was filled with meaningful relationships and experiences that truly defined the essence of a life well-lived. Matthew's story may have reached an untimely end, but the chapters he wrote in the hearts of those he loved will be cherished forever
