Survived by her daughters: Melissa (Paul) Hale and Kathy (Bobby) Lawhon; sisters: Mary Galyon, Carthage, NC, Betty Blankenship, Rockwood, TN, and Margaret Vaughn, Tellico Plains, TN; sisters-in-Law, Tootsie Nicholson, Sweetwater, TN and Sue Nicholson, Cleveland, TN; special niece and caregiver, with whom she made her home, Debbie Brown; grandniece, Heather; great-grandniece, Charlotte; grandchildren: Shelley Sanford, Alex Fry, and Travis Lawhon; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Emily Lawhon, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City, TN. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 9th at 2 p.m. at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request monetary memorials to the Duke Cancer Fund in memory of Mattie Brown via the website, https://duke.is/MattieBrown.
