Mattie Lily Gainley

Mattie Lily Gainley, 87, of Moncks Corner, died on December 11, 2025. Mattie was born in Nicholls, GA on October 13, 1938. She was a child of the late Lois and Roscoe Jordan. She later married the love of her life, Robert Allen Gainley on March 5, 1961. Together, they had one son, Roger Allen Gainley who sadly passed in 2015. Mattie had 2 grandsons, Steven(Deanna) Wireman and Jonathan (Heather) Wireman, her best friend and great granddaughter, Adriana Wireman, and 1 great grandson, Stevie Wireman. Mattie was a genuine, kind person with a huge heart. She liked ceramics and collecting elephants. Graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens on Rivers Ave on December 19 at 2 pm. The site is in the back of the cemetery in the praying hands section. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, you may donate to the love offering for the Pastor.
