I am heartbroken by the loss of you Maura.
Since we first met in 1987,39 years ago, you have always been a wonderful friend.
In good times and bad I knew I could always depend on you.
I will miss our lunches, arranged by Gail and the lunches we shared at the Riverdale
Steakhouse where we often wound up
discussing and laughing at the joys of aging.
You told me about your father who worked for a time for the family of the famous author J.D.Salinger, whose book "The Catcher in the Rye" is an American classic and the struggles your mother endured.
You were the daughter of emigrants, I was an emigrant. We had a lot in common.
I miss you very much but you will always be in my heart.

My Dear Maura, I will always love you and miss you. You have been like a family member to me and my girls Lizzy and Heather. We have known each other for over 25 years, after hiring me in 1999 at PIA. We have had many dinners, holidays and adventures together, wonderful memories. Safes travels my dear friend, until we meet again

Oh Maura, I am positive you are now with your love. I know I thanked you for your mentorship and friendship over the years we worked together but I will say it again you were pivotal in my career and am blessed to have known you for all those years. I wish we kept in touch but I guess it just wasn´t meant to be that way. You were always a role model for so many including me. I pray for your peace, rest and send humble love. Thank you for all that you did for me, for Mark, for David and Shannon. You were a remarkable strong woman.

To my best and wonderful friend! Thank you for being a part of my life! I can´t imagine it differently, from the minute I met you in the parking lot at work at 7PM and asked you if you wanted to go for a bite at the Lex, to the adventures we shared through life together as best friends and travel buddies and also to the point where folks would ask - sisters?, and we´d both respond yes.I love you and can´t wait to see you on the next cruise!
