On Friday May 17, 2024 Maureen Coderre "Moe" passed away peacefully in Saugus with family and friends by her side. She was married to Frank Coderre for 56 years until Frank passed away on June 24, 2021. They had two sons, Scott and Kevin. Kevin passed away September 17, 1992 by a motorcycle accident. Frank was Comondore of the Foxhill in Saugus for many years and Moe loved being the 1st lady.
They retired and moved to Naples, Florida in 1998. They had many great years together. Maureen traveled the world for many years and her last big trip she vacationed with seven other friends from Saugus to Italy, The Amalfi Coast. Maureen predeceased by her husband Frank, son Kevin, parents Bob and Dot Carter, sister Janice, and brother in law Paul Woodworth.
Maureen leaves behind son Scott, sister Dorothy Consolo and partner Harry, Bob and Helen (Carol) Carter, Jim and Sue Carter, Julie Piercy, and many nieces and nephews and her favorite grandson Derek.
She was very grateful for all the wonderful friends she has had over many years and as her health failed, the love and fun will never be forgotten.

My dear sweet friend, I do and will miss our phone talks. We had so much fun, laughs and joy in our prime. Then you moved to Naples and later I became a snowbird in Gulfport Fl. We had the gift of gab and a mutual sense of humor.
I´m grateful to have had you in my
Life.

I´ll never forget growing up on Morton Avenue with the Carter family. I always wanted to be over their house as it was so much fun with all those kids! Of course Maureen being the oldest she was the first to get a job so we were envious of the new clothes she could buy. I think we drove her crazy. She was a great fun loving person and I´ll never forget her. Some of the Morton avenue kids with Moe in the back with the pigtails. (Picture below)
