My first new teacher in a new town/ fourth grade teacher in 2003-4. With being in a new place with so many new faces as a kid moving to a new town for the first time Mrs. Feeney was the main factor in my adjustment and acclimating to my new environment. On top of that, my creative young soul struggled with the concept of reading books as I loved to draw the pictures in comic books or just doodle in general. She not only catered to class amazingly yet she took the time for 1 on 1s where she got to understand us as her students and create a plan to get us achieving the best we could. To date, I had only read 1-2 books outside of books read in school, ex summer reading. She not only set up audio tapes to peak my interest books / in the topics that appealed to me, yet gave me simple goals like read one book within 2 weeks. Within that same week I had read 4 books and continued to peak my personal interests in writing story´s myself.
Thank you Mrs. Feeney!!!
Love to your Family!

My deepest condolences. Death of a loved one is never an easy thing to go through. Just remember you are not alone. Isaiah 61: 2 "...To comfort all who mourn" God is right here to help you.

I worked closely with Dan for many years at Central Office. He always spoke fondly of Maureen and their kids. I got to know. Maureen better during the naming process for the new school, as well as during the ceremony we held to dedicate the preschool program in his name. I am so glad they are together again

Maureen, a treasured classmate with whom most of the boys in our class were just a little in love, was a grace note in our high school. To her brothers and sister, I know how deeply you must feel her loss. Please accept my sympathy.
