MAUREEN A. KRIESKI age 74, cherished daughter of Kathleen (nee Schneider) and the late William Krieski; dearest sister of William (wife Jenny), Ann Guzauskas (husband George), Eileen Caskovic (husband Philip deceased), George (wife Diana) and Kathleen; dear aunt of nine, great-aunt of eight; treasured niece, cousin and friend of many.
Maureen was born June 25, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio and was one of six children to William and Kathleen Krieski. After graduating in 1969 from Cleveland Heights High School, she pursued a higher education, earning her double bachelor’s degree in teaching and psychology at The Ohio State University and MBA master’s degree at Case Western Reserve University. Professionally, she excelled as a teacher and researcher in the Information Systems field.
Known for her cooking and baking abilities, her passions extended beyond the kitchen. She found great joy visiting a variety of museums, being a member of the Singing Angels, being artistic in painting, traveling, taking cruises and being a frequent attendee at Playhouse Square. She was also a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians. In short, Maureen lived life large.
Maureen was social, with an ever-present smile and an open ear for anyone who needed someone to listen. She passed away on October 30, 2025. Her family will forever miss her laugh, sense of humor and loving personality.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, November 6, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills, Ohio at 10AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Maureen at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) WEDNESDAY 5-7PM.
