Maureen, thank you for everything you did for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It was an honor working with you. My condolences to your family in this difficult time. We will miss you.

I am deeply saddened to know my smiling, happy friend next door has passed. I will miss watching her ride her horse in the field between our homes and chatting with her at the fence. May the love of your family and friends carry you through this difficult time. We are right next door for you.

I will remember you, Maureen, as having a true sense of yourself. I enjoyed your humor and easy smile. You took your responsibilities seriously and wanted to do the right thing. Rest peacefully. I was fortunate to have known you.

Oh my. Your spirit and energy were so amazing. I remember hanging out with you on many a detail and office visit to Denver. I know that your light will continue to shine and I hope there is some comfort in that for all who will miss you daily.
