Maureen (Mo) Rose Hudson, 37, of Amarillo, TX, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, Jason and Ellie.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2025, at First Baptist Church with Jason Laird officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Maureen (Mo) was born on Earth Day, April 22, 1988, in Nederland, Texas, to Max and Donna (Davis) Zollers. She grew up in Groves, where she took piano lessons, enjoyed tennis and UIL competitions, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Port Neches–Groves High School in 2006.
She went on to attend the University of Texas at Arlington, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business. After building her financial planning practice and starting a family, Maureen earned her Master’s Degree in Economics and Corporate Governance from West Texas A&M University and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Maureen (Mo) was known among colleagues and friends for her generosity, humor, courage, and leadership. She lived with an open heart and radiant grace. She loved traveling with her family and friends, found joy in cooking, and cherished every moment spent with her daughter. A devoted mother, a fiercely loyal friend, and a constant source of encouragement, she inspired all who knew her. Her courage throughout her illness became a testament of faith and love, touching countless lives with her quiet strength and unshakable hope. Those who knew her will forever remember her laughter, deep empathy, and her gift for making everyone feel seen and loved.
Maureen (Mo) was a board member of the Amarillo Angels.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Hudson, of Amarillo; her beloved daughter, Ellie Hudson; her parents, Max and Donna Zollers of Groves; her sisters, Blythe of Miami and Erica of Groves; her brother, Jonathan of Houston; and a host of extended family and dear friends who loved her deeply.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the entire BSA Hospice of the Southwest care team; caregiver Vanessa Gutierrez of Compassion At Home; Dr. Nolan Farmer, DO, and Kristin Farmer, NP; Jason and Jamie Laird of Crossroads Church; the spirited women of the Junior League of Amarillo; and Region 326 of Edward Jones, led by Eric Schneck, for their loving support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support Eleanor Hudson’s education by visiting any Edward Jones branch office in the United States and contributing to her 529 College Savings Plan.
