Maurice "Bud" Curry

Maurice "Bud" Curry, 93, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. He was born on Nov. 11, 1932, in Flora, Ore., to William Curry and Margaret Hunt.

Bud grew up in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley and attended Asotin High School graduating in 1951.

Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, proudly serving his country from 1951-55 as a radio operator. Following his military service, Bud began what would become a long career with United Airlines as a mechanic.

In the years that followed, Bud married Marilyn Heath and together they raised two sons, Tim and Sean Curry. After Marilyn passed in 2000, Bud later married Greta Cummings in 2022.

Bud and Greta enjoyed traveling, taking the Via Rail across Canada, cruising the Mississippi River aboard the (then) American Queen, and living in South Texas during the winters where Bud learned to golf and loved it. He was also able to take a trip to Ireland where he kissed the Blarney Stone and visited Six Mile Cross where his grandparents came from. He also made an annual fishing trip with friends to Alaska where they stayed in a rental cabin.

Bud is survived by his two sons: Sean Curry and Tim (Marah) Curry, and their children, Jillian Curry (granddaughter) and Dylan Curry (grandson).
