Maury was my best friend. I knew him for 50 years even before we became CPD officers. We shared many good times together playing basketball. He was a good and honorable man. I will greatly miss him He was a brother to me

It was my privilege to be Maury's Friend for over twenty years. He was a great Cop, great Dad and Grandpa, and a great man. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him. He led Police Officers for many years, and always did so with courage, dedication, and respect. My condolences to his Family. R.I.P., Brother
