Shocked and sad to see this. He was such a kind and honorable man! I remember him being honored (I think by NAMI of Chicago) for his work on behalf of the mentally ill. Well done, sir!

It was my privilege to be Maury's Friend for over twenty years. He was a great Cop, great Dad and Grandpa, and a great man. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him. He led Police Officers for many years, and always did so with courage, dedication, and respect. My condolences to his Family. R.I.P., Brother
