Maurice Kenneth Sauls

Maurice Kenneth Sauls was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was born in Austin, Texas on June 9, 1954, to Maurice Sauls, and Anna Mae Hamilton. Maurice Kenneth Sauls was baptized and confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at David Chapel Church.
Maurice Kenneth Sauls left this world on December 4, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Melvin Sauls and Pauline Sauls; son, Chester Ray Sauls; brother, Vanness Simmons; and niece Withiea Jones.
He leaves to mourn his parents, Maurice Sauls and Anna Mae Hamilton; his daughters, Keshia Sauls, Kanesha Greene, Shaka Sauls; his sons, Kenneth Myron Sauls, Kennie Sauls, KB Sauls, Chris Wallace, Chris Clay; sisters, Delores Sauls Maxwell, Joye Ann Jennings, Alma Jennings, Erma Loving; brothers, Paul Sauls, Carl Ray Jennings, Sarah Sauls, Patricia Sauls, Maurice Sauls, Charles Dickie Sauls, Anthony Sauls; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew, uncles, aunts, cousin, other relatives and friends.
All that knew him as Fireball, that name came from when he was born, he looked like a ball of fire. He was very outspoken, mean what he say and say what he mean. He loved to dress sharp in his clothes and loved his family, pets and plants. He worked at Travis State School as a custodian. He also did yard work, worked on cars, loved fishing and hunting, barbeque and his old school music. He loved when his nephew, Clay Rivers, would go hunting and bring him meat to cook. He will be missed but never forgotten.
