Mauricio Espinosa, 62, of Eustis, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Born on August 9, 1962, in Nuevitas, Camagüey, Cuba, Mauricio brought warmth, laughter, and strength to all who knew him. In 2010, he made Eustis his home after moving from Miami, Florida, and quickly became a beloved member of the community. Mauricio was a man of great heart and simple joys. He cherished days at the beach, spirited games of dominos, and above all, moments spent surrounded by family. His humor, resilience, and devotion will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Dorothy Jarrin of Eustis, FL; his sons, Marcos Espinosa of Tampa, FL, Michael Espinosa of Slovakia, Maury Espinosa of Miami, FL, Matthew Espinosa of Eustis, FL, and Ricardo Javier Tomala of Eustis, FL; his daughter, Melissa Espinosa of Orlando, FL; and his cherished grandson, Caleb Espinosa. Mauricio also leaves behind his brothers, Emeterio Espinosa and Pedro Espinosa; and his sisters, Carrida Ramos, Olga Espinosa, Zoila Espinosa, and Yolexis Espinosa, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy. Family and friends are invited to gather in his honor on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. Maurico will be laid to rest at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora. Mauricio’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
