Mauro Gonzalez Sr., was born in Coyote, Cuahuila, MX to Raymundo Gonzalez and Victoria Camarillo on February 20th, 1955. On May, 1984 he arrived in the town of Mesquite, which became his hometown since. He worked in and out of town for a several years until he found local jobs and became too tired for long travel. For the past 10+ final years, he worked a seasonal job every summer in Mesquite at F&R Packing and recently was known for riding around in a golf cart. Unfortunately, that was the last thing he rode.
Mauro Sr., was preceded in death by his third son Lorenzo Gonzalez, his sister Maria Estela Lazarin and his parents.
Mauro Sr., is survived by Maria D. Gonzalez (Chuyita), ex-wife, parenting Joel Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez, Estrella Gonzalez and Mauro Gonzalez Jr.
Pall Bearers will be Joel Gonzalez, Mauro Gonzalez Jr., Gerardo Gonzalez, Arturo Gonzalez, Martin Gonzalez, Samuel Gonzalez.
Memorial will be given to Mauro Gonzalez Jr.
A funeral is scheduled for Monday, June 6th, 2022 in La Paz - Graham,s Funeral Home, 555 W. Amador, Las Cruces, NM, 88005 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Mass will be in Mesquite the following day Tuesday, June 7th in Our lady of Perpetual Help, Gallaner St. Mesquite, NM 88048 with burial in Missionary Ridge Cemetery in Mesquite. Father Enpinoza will officiate the services.
