Mavis Johnson

Mavis Johnson, age 83, of Maryville was called home to be with the Lord Saturday February 28,2026. Mavis and Ole were life long dairy farmers in Barronett, Wi. Her son, daughter-in-law and grandkids were thrilled to have Grandpa and Grandma J move to East TN five years ago so that they could go to all the concerts, sporting events and musicals. Then there were grandma's cooking and baking oh my! Family argued over which was best her cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, pumpkin bars or her seven-layer salad. Her family was the center of her world. She was so pleased to see her three great grandsons born in beautiful East TN.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years of marriage, Harold "Ole" Johnson; Son, Jeff (Susan) Johnson, grandchildren Eric, April, Luke (Blair), Henry Johnson, August Johjnson, Finn Johnson, Nicholas, Rebecca, Brother-in-law Harley Johnson. In lieu of flowers donations to Praise Lutheran Church.

The family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday March 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Praise Lutheran Church, 315 Southdowne Dr. Maryville TN 37801 with a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Derek Roberts officiating. Followed with a graveside service at Holston College Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Arrangements made by Miller Funeral Home 915 W. Broadway Maryville TN 37801.
