Max Briggs Obituary

Max retired from Fisher Body in Lansing as a Dock Controller after over 30 years of service. While working in Lansing he earned a degree in computer science, to further his career with General Motors. He enjoyed photography and playing guitar.
Max is survived by his wife Louise; children Mark (Robin) Briggs, Sonya (Brian) Guarisco, Curtis (Anelyn) Briggs; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and his siblings Carl, Jim, Edith and Linda.
He was preceded in death by his son Garrett; daughter-in-law Susan; his parents; and sisters Dorothy and Doris.
Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Sheridan Assembly of God (4010 Sheridan Rd. Sheridan, 48884) at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Carlson officiating. Max has been laid to rest in Richland Township Cemetery, Vestaburg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Crystal.
