Max was a great friend to me. We were at an Idaho Power function in Ontario, Oregon and my ex walked in because our function was also open to the public. He was given me the stink eye. Max noticed and asked me to dance. As soon as we were on the dance floor he asked if I was okay and I said no. He ask who the rude guy was and I told him. After the dance ended he escorted me back to the table and thanked me for the dance. Then he walked up to my ex and said something to him and my ex suddenly left and never bothered me again. Max was my friend I was at the function with my boyfriend at the time and he didn´t even notice! I´m so sorry to hear of his passing! He was a great man. He was always there for me.

Max was a simple big hearted man. And from what I experienced, he was kind to everyone he encountered and always willing to help anyone who asked. Max had a rye smile and a soft chuckle that was pleasant to the ear. That sound will be missed by many I’m sure! I am lucky that my mother found him - they were a good pair and he took great care of her. I hope that they are able to find each other again.
Cheers Max! I will miss you!
