Max King, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Concord, California, after a long illness. He was born on April 22, 1950, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Max earned his bachelor's degree while living in the Dominican Republic and shared his love of creativity as an art instructor for many years. Later in life, he built a successful career as a director for a security company, where he dedicated more than three decades of service.

A man of many passions, Max loved all forms of art, especially painting. He was an avid soccer fan, enjoyed dancing and music, and found great joy in boxing, cooking, and sharing good food with loved ones. His warmth, humor, and zest for life touched all who knew him.

Max is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Silveira; his son, Max King, Jr.; his daughters, Lady Elizabeth King, Samar Kurdi and Lolita Sweet; his sisters, Lala, Merissy and Eveline; his brother, Socrates Moris; and two cherished grandchildren, Hanny and Hannah Kurdi.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, November 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, followed by burial at All Souls Cemetery in Vallejo.

Max will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love of family, and his lifelong appreciation for art and culture.
