Max Christopher "Chris" Lehman, age 65, of Omaha, NE and formally of Sidney, NE passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2025 in Omaha NE. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday January 08, 2026 in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sidney with Father Bryan Ernest Officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a memorial contribution to the St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Friends may stop by the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on to leave their condolences for the family.

Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website.

Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Chris' care and funeral arrangements.

Chris was born on June 16,1960, 6 minutes before his brother, John Timothy, in Sidney, NE to Edward and Particia (McMillan) Lehman.

He graduated from Storm Lake High School, in Storm Lake IA. He went on in school to become a chef. He loved baking and had the best pumpkin pies made from scratch. Chris would also have a garden when he was younger, raising huge potatoes among other vegetables. Chris worked at Tyson prior to his cancer diagnosis.

Chris and his older brother, Mike, would ride bikes all over the bike trails in the Omaha area riding for hours at a time. Chris was a devoted son to his parents, and would help them with lawn mowing, snow removal, and what they needed to do.

He is survived by his sister, Jana and husband Bob Deines of Sidney, NE. Twin brother, John Timothy and Darcy Lehman of Grimes Iowa. Nieces and Nephews, Sarah, Jenny, Mike, Matt Tyler, and John. He is also survived by several friends in Omaha, and his good friend Dale Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Patricia, and older brother Mike.

He will always be remembered as a devoted friend, son, and brother.
