Max was born on August 16, 1915 and passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016. Max was a resident of Loveland, Colorado at the time of his passing. He was married to Lavenia. Memorial services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 16 2016 at Buckhorn Presbyterian Church. A private family interment will take place prior to services at the church. The family thanks the staff at Brookdale at Marianna Butte Halcyon Hospice and Hearts and Horses for their care and kindness this past year. Memorial contributions can be made to Buckhorn Presbyterian Church in Masonville CO in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.

Hearts & Horses is going to greatly miss this Horseman! We loved listening to his stories about life on the farm and his experiences with the horses he showed and raised. Max was a pure pleasure to be around and I will cherish the time I had with him as his instructor.
