Maxima Rivera Bogaoan, age 81, passed away February 8, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Marcelino Abenis Bogaoan; loving mother of Joel (Lian) Rivera Bogaoan, Evelyn (Dannie) Mamparo, Ray (Carol) Rivera Bogaoan, Rosie (Orly) Ancheta, Michael (Michelle) Rivera Bogaoan, and Michele (Ronald) Guia; cherished grandmother of Desiree Anne Mamparo, Christian Mamparo, Vea Bogaoan, Vince Bogaoan, Coleen Bogaoan, Christian Bogaoan, Carlo Bogaoan, Ella Ancheta, Kimberly Ancheta, Airol Ancheta, Mikhaela Bogaoan, Cyrelle Bogaoan, Khervy Bogaoan, Casey Guia, and Mason Guia. Maxima had many hobbies that included cooking, sewing, and gardening. Visitation Friday February 13, 2026 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Funeral Saturday February 14, 2026 with prayers starting at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow immediately after mass at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
