I was so very sorry to hear of your great loss. From the once or twice I met Max, I could easily tell that he was a kind and truly caring man that loved his family immensely, and that made quite an impression on me. I met both Max & Matt, at the Special Olympics event at Baldwin High School many years ago when I volunteered through Duquesne Light, and for 2 years in a row, Matt was my special Olympian for the day. Matt's other helper and I (both us of named Lynne) absolutely LOVED Matt...he was so joyful and put a huge smile on both of our faces ALL DAY! I will never forget the kindness of Max and how brightly his love for Matt showed for all to see. He was so very proud of Matt! Afterward, Max sent a letter to Duquesne Light's then-president, thanking him for letting us volunteer, and saying how much he appreciated the connection that Lynn & I had formed that day with Matt. I will always remember how very special of a person that Max was, and I am sure he will be so very missed by all. RIP & God Bless Max.
