His is survived by his his ten children, Michael Godinez of Texas, Diana Salinas of Fowler, Dolores Godinez of Tulare, Maryann Godinez of Reedley, Maximilian Godinez II of Fresno, Amalia Godinez of Fresno, Yolanda Romero of Fresno, Luis Dorantes of Mexico City, Robin Godinez of Bakersfield, Dania Godinez of Porterville, Laura Godinez of Visalia, Wilfredo Godinez of Porterville, Chloe Godinez of Squaw Valley and Miguelito of Visalia; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in Dinuba. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Dopkins Chapel followed by interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery.

Dad it's been almost a year now since you've passed away ,but there's not a day that goes by that your not in my thoughts . I miss you and I love you more than words can say .your wings were ready ,but my heart was not .

Words cannot begin to express the sadness and grief I feel losing my dad.i have many memories of time we spent together when he would pick me up to take me to his house on the weekends .my dad was the strongest ,toughest, man I've ever known who spoke his mind at all times and did so without fear .I love my dad ,so much and he will be greatly missed by me and all his family . So dad until we see eachother again ,Your body may be gone but you live always and forever in my heart I love u so so very much and I'm gonna miss you
