So very sorry to hear this news. Maxine was in the lunch bunch that I ate with almost every day while working at the Bank for many years. She was so kind, caring, uplifting, and a wonderful Christian lady. I have thought about you all so much. She loved her family dearly and always talked about all of you. Frenchy, I met you when Earlean Lozano's daughter got married. Bill, my husband, was the preacher who performed the ceremony. I remember Maxine and you dancing at the reception--a beautiful sight. So glad God crossed our paths in this earthly life and I am blessed to have had this wonderful lady as my friend.
May God be with all of you and console your hearts with his love, peace, and strength in the days ahead.

I am very sad to hear this about Maxine. She lived across the street from me growing up and was like a big sister to me. I always respected Maxine and thought she was just the "greatest" growing up and admired her so much. That never changed. You will be missed, dear friend and I will always love you like a big sister.
