Maxine Corbin Obituary
Her career was as a civil servant for the US NAVY where she made many valuable friendships.
She was a lifetime member of Brownsville Assembly of God Church where she was also married to Jonathan Leo Corbin in 1958.
Maxine was proceeded in death by her parents Effrom and Lovie Sunday, brothers Sam, Pete, Ollin, Buddy, Dennis, Benny Joe Sunday, and sisters Dorothy Houston, Angie Finney, and her son Jonathan Todd Corbin.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Jonathan Leo Corbin, sister Judy Damico, daughter April Nyman, son Philip Dean Corbin/Kathy Stanton, grandson Logan Nyman/Hari Leigh, granddaughters Abby Jameson/Tyler, Lizzie Vigil/Alec, great grandchildren Leo Jameson, Romy Nyman and Jones Vigil.
A visitation will be held at Brownsville Assembly of God on Saturday, January 3, 2025 from 10am until the service begins at 11am
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Brownsville Assembly of God Church.

I would like to say that I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Maxine Corbin.
She was a kind and thoughtful lady. That cared about her family and her neighbors.
I was one of those neighbors that had memories of riding my tricycle to her home as a child.
While there, she would always offer conversations and snacks. She shared many conversations with the women in our neighborhood one of those was my mother Norma Resmondo. The passing of Maxine, in this way, I know is such a shock to her family
and friends like myself who had such great memories of her and the Corbin Family.

Having known Maxine for over 60 yrs, I think about how she loved & cared for her Family & Husband, Leo & especially her dedication to her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ; Who no doubt welcomed her into Heaven with open arms. Condolences & Prayers for her family.
