Maxine Davie Obituary
Virginia Beach – Maxine Bryant Davie passed away peacefully at her home in Virginia Beach on March 2, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin H. Davie; her brothers, Stanley Bryant, Truman Bryant, Garland Bryant, and Claton Bryant, as well as her stepson, Robert Davie.
Maxine is survived by her brother, Lloyd "L.A." Bryant of Virginia Beach; her niece, Sharon Craig (Chris) of Virginia Beach, her nephew Garland "Mac" Bryant (Patty) of Franklin, and her stepdaughter, Judith Kennedy (Jack) of Virginia Beach; 2 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory; as well as many dear friends and devoted neighbors whose lives were brightened by her kindness and presence.
In accordance with her wishes, a private service will be held at a later date. Maxine asked that those who knew her remember the many wonderful memories shared together.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
