Maxine A. Johnson, age 86, Resident of Pipestone, Minnesota passed away peacefully at Pipestone County Hospice House, January 30, 2026. Proud West Virginia native and loving wife of a retired Air Force MSGT, Maxine traveled to places like Hawaii, Philippines and Alaska with Dad while he was stationed there. They had 3 daughters and made Rapid City, SD their home after Dads retirement. Maxine was shy but extremely loving to all that met and knew her. She would often be found sitting outside in the sun or pulling weeds out of the garden. She will be greatly missed by her 3 daughters, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren.
You know the secret. Love you more.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hartquist Funeral Home in Pipestone.
Services will be held at a later date to be determined.
